How to Apply
You can download a Membership Application or use the Online Application at vfw.org for either the Annual or Life Membership. The annual membership fee for VFW Post 7873 is $40.00. The life membership fee is based on age as listed on the application.
If joining online, you will need to submit your DD Form 214 to the VFW Post 7873 Quartermaster. If submitting a hard copy application, please attach your DD Form 214 and payment for either the annual or life membership and submit to the Quartermaster. The DD Form 214 must reflect foreign service location, timeframe (from/thru dates), and campaign ribbons or medals received.

Annual dues are $40.00 per year. The life membership fee is based on age as listed on the application form. Application must include payment for the annual or life membership and the service member’s DD Form 214 (for the service member you listed on the application making you eligible to join). The DD Form 214 must reflect the service member’s service location, timeframe (from/thru dates), and campaign ribbons or medals received.

PLEASE NOTE
You may pick up membership application forms for both the Post and Auxiliary at VFW Post 7873.
Both the Post and Auxiliary membership applications are voted on once a month during their monthly meetings, which are held the 3rd Saturday of each month at 11:00am. Once voted in, new members will receive their life or annual membership card in the mail.
